Interceptive Treatments

Some orthodontic problems can be corrected and effectively treated early and so to speak putting the development of the teeth and the Jaws back on the normal path of development. This is termed interceptive orthodontics and varies from the timely removal of some baby teeth to more active treatment with the use of orthodontic appliances (braces). The duration of these treatments are usually not more than a few months followed by longer term monitoring until if comprehensive treatment indicated.

Many appliances are used and can be used such as conventional Removable appliances to more recently Invisalign ® 1st.
